How can baked pears with only 4-ingredients be SO delicious?!

I present to you the world’s easiest breakfast, dessert… snack: Maple Baked Pears. Think:

  • Juicy

  • Sweet

  • Creamy

  • Fancy (but not)

  • Makes your house smell amazing

Topping these juicy pears with granola (grain-free, a stove-top grain-free version - hello easy!, chai-spiced, chocolate), coconut cream, Greek Yogurt definitely takes ithem UP a notch. But let’s be serious, these are so SO good already.

Maple Baked Pears with Granola and Coconut Cream

Serves 4 // Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, Refined Sugar-Free, Can be Paleo

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 Bartlett Pears

  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Optional toppings

  • granola (grain free if Paleo)

  • whipped coconut cream

  • Greek yogurt

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cut pears in half, then cut a small sliver off the underside so the pears sit flat when placed upright on the baking sheet. Use a teaspoon to core out the seeds. Arrange pears, facing up, on the baking sheet. Sprinkle with cinnamon

  3. Whisk the maple syrup and vanilla extract together in a small bowl. Drizzle it over the pears.

  4. Bake pears for about 25 minutes until soft and lightly browned on the edges.

  5. Serve warm with granola and coconut cream or Greek yogurt.
